I've been accepted, but we'll see how my training goes. If I'm not prepared when October rolls around then I'll just push it off till next year.
In all honesty, this will probably be the last time I do NYC. Compared to other marathons, the organizers of NYC make you feel as if they're doing YOU some kind of favor. Their entry fees have been crazy the last few years too. They take some of the fun out of it. I'd like to try some European marathons in future years.

I do agree though...it's very expensive. This is my last NY race...I am thinking of Paris next year (spring I believe) if I manage to stay healthy. Also, I would love to do Chicago and San Fran.
