Who would babysit on New Year's Eve?

We got a STD for NYE and I just realized I may have a hard time finding someone to watch DS.....
My mom and dad will be upstate and ILs will be at the wedding!
None of my friends have kids, and ALL of DHs friends have multiple kids, so we seem to be in a pickle.....

And let's not even get into the 4th of July wedding!!!!!!!!!Chat Icon

Would you sit for a friend in their home on NYE?

I might - if it wasn't DH's birthday Chat Icon

Honestly, I think I would prefer to watch them in my own house, but I would have to see

I would, we haven't done much in years. I think you'd be surprised how many people stay home.

I would babysit, but, in my house. I usually have family and friends over. Nothing crazy.

right, but you have your own kids.....
Who can I get to come sit in MY house on NYE?

This is gonna be tough.....
I could never impose on anyone to watch my son in their home.

Just throwing this out there!! --chris and I have not talked about NYE's...usually we go to my aunts...however, last year he made me a quiet dinner at home (I was on trial)

So....I would gladly watch Gavin...but maybe I can take him with me??...you know what...i think a quiet evening in your house might work also :)-

If that is what they would rather do, why not?

I would. I'm not a big NYE party person so knowing someone who had an event and needed help, I'd gladly do it.

You know, my parents and their friends did this until we went to college. They'd either split the babysitter at our house or our friends' house or stay in with us all.

Then when we got to be like 12-13, they left us alone with a pizza and movies and they all went to dinner.

It was FUN!
