Who hires an appraiser?
Does the bank?
We are getting the paperwork together for our loan approval, and this is one of the fees they (the broker) will charge this. I just want to make sure this is all right before I sign anything!

yep- my DH has a few he likes to work with- he calls them and "orders the apprasial"
