Who here takes Duet DHA?
I have been taking it...but for some reason the pharmacy says it can't be reordered and they aren't sure why just yet.
Anyone know?

The pharmacy might have had it in stock maybe...I just got worried b.c my pharmacy isn't sure why they can't order it but they assured me it wasn't recalled (that was the first thing that came to my mind).

Thats good to know- I'd be totally freaked if it was recalled!! Keep us updated...it'll be a few weeks before I need more!

I am also going to directly call Stuart Natal tomorrow to see why my pharm can't order it.

I got the answer. I called Stuart Natal myself.
They simply upped the amt of Omega 3 in the vitamins so their NDC # on the product changed (order #) and they also made them enteric coated so the name changed to Duet DHA EC.
So glad they are still making them, I love them.
Just an FYI.

Did you have to do anything? I need a refill next week and am seeing my OB friday - so if I need a new script for it I might as well get it when I am there

The pharmacy told me they have to call the dr to ok the new version before they give it to me.
So you can mention it to your dr if you want...maybe your pharmacy has the old one in stock so it won't be an issue anyway.

I take it, I once had an issue where they didn't have the regular ones in stock and they were on back order, so the pharmacy called my doctor to see if it was ok if I took the EC version - which is the same vitamin with an extra coating to make it go down easier.
