Who got a negative home pregnancy result prior to expected AF and ended up pregnant?

This is a question for women who became pregnant and took home pregnancy tests prior to the date of their expected AF. I want to seriously see how many women received a negative pregnancy test prior to her expected AF, then ended up pregnant. It seems so divided. Some women say they get a positive right away, others it's not until three weeks after a missed AF.

ive never heard of someone not getting a BFP until 3 weeks after AF - i would think that's pretty much the exception and not too common.

i think you will get a more gaugeable response to this question if you ask when people tested in relation to expected AF (ie. 3 days before AF BFN then 1 day before AF BFP).

I've gotten a neg a day or so before AF was due and when she never showed, a + a couple days later.

I got a bfn on 10dpo and a bfp on 13dpo, AF was due 14dpo

I have been getting negatives but I'm sure i am/was pg.

I will find out tomorrow if I was/am PG.

With my first pregnancy I didn't track. I had an idea of when AF was due and tested the day I thought I should be getting AF and I got a very faint bfp. But I'm not sure how many DPO I was for sure. I'm pretty sure I tested 28 days from my last period.

Right now I'm late for AF and I am testing negative on Dollar Tree tests. I'm on day 26 roughly 15dpo. I have no idea what is going on. I ovulated early between days 10 and 12 I think, so I should have gotten AF. My cycles are usually 26-28 days.

I have no idea how many DPO I was, because we weren't really charting/trying.

But I took an HPT and got a BFN.....and then a week later I took another one when AF had not shown, and got a BFP pretty quick.

sadly a lot fo PG symptoms are the same as AF

I had no symptoms when I got a bfp but a little cramping

early on, you really don't get any symptoms when pregnant, so it was probably just AF symptoms for you

I have never once gotten sore boobs. This time they hurt like Hell. I have never once, in 13 years, been late with AF, even by an hour. This time I was 3+days late. I was overly emotional..like over the top hormonal. I never get that way.

Its just a feeling I have had. All I can say is gut.

I will tomorrow if I was/am PG.

i really hope u r pg..but just to add..all those years you are not ttc so would u notice that u had symptoms u r having now..and also even the stress of ttc can throw ur cycle off by a day or two

i hope every symptom u have is true and u r preggo just would hate for u to get ur hopes up to high cause we have all had months of swearing to the high heavens we r pregnant

With this pregnancy, I tested with FRER with FMU on CD28, which I thought would be AF day (it was my first month off BCP, so I didn't know my cycle length exactly, but my whole life, it has been every 28-30 days), and got a BFN. Tested 2 days later, again with FRER, and got the faintest of faint BFP's (you can see pics in my album).

ETS: Duh. I just remembered those pics are in the album under secret name, when I was still in hiding. If you wanna look, it was under shooting4number2.

I had gotten a whole 3 negative tests with my pregnancy: on days POD 12, 13 and 14.

I had a positive blood test day 14.

I never ever saw my own positive pregnancy test.

I did, however, overthink a LOT of negatives that ended up being true negatives for over a year. I never had any pregnancy symptom when I was pregnant (except for a nosebleed).

Negative on 9 dpo (5 days before AF was due ) positive on 11 dpo (3 days before AF was due)

ETA: I just read the whole post. Last November I had such pg symptoms, spotted 2 days before AF was due and got AF 1 day late with a BFN. This past January when I did get pg, it was exactly the same so I think I had a chemical that never registered on a test. I don't tell anyone or my doctor that, but I truly believe it, the same could have happened to you.
