who do you buy holiday gifts for?
Do you get for your principal, APs, coteacher(s), and teaching assistant(s)? If I do that, I'm buying 9 gifts!

who do you buy holiday gifts for?
I have 3 AP's, and 1 priincipal. Plus secretaries and custodians.
I bake for everybody but do it earlier before they are inundated with goodies.

No one. Honestly... I am a single mom of 3 kids and have a network of people I "have to" give gifts to (beyond my kids obviously) and I Just do not have it in my budget to buy gifts for people I work with. I give a Christmas card. Thats it.

We do a collection that is for the custodians, school aides, and secretaries.

In my school, they collect $40 each from teachers who want to participate and then get gifts for all the non-instructional staff (i.e. secretaries, custodians, cafeteria workers, etc.). I contribute to that and then I also, along with the other 2 teachers in my department, get something for our principal.
ETA: I don't have a teacher's aide anymore but when I did, we did exchange gifts.

my co-teacher... she is my work wife--we are together 24-7. lol
in previous years, if I had a classroom aide or a TA (I am a special ed. teacher) they got a gift as well.
then i participate in the building wide secret santa which is optional.
for the secretaries, i usually give them a small token like chocolates.
for the custodians, we chip in as a hallway and give him cash.
the principal and lead teacher - nothing. not that I don't like them, i just never got into that.
