Re: Which Sling?
Sorry you are getting no responses. I dont think many of the moms on here used slings as this post normally gets a poor response. I used the baby bjorn with my dd and loved that but am looking for a sling for my next dc that I can use from birth. I am going to try to site=www.thebabywearer.com for some tips.
I will FM you if I find anything.

Thanks...I have a snugli and my DS loved it... but the baby has to have some neck control, and Id like to start "wearing" this baby right away.

Re: Which Sling?
I had a hot sling and it was great for carrying her around, although I didn't get until she was a little bit older (4 months or so?). It was uncomfy for me though, my neck would hurt from wearing it. I probably had it on wrong, but when I pushed it down to my shoulder, I couldn't move my arm. The Hot Sling comes with a video to show you how to use it, which was helpful. I know Target sells them now, so you could go try them on in the store.

Re: Which Sling?
I had the Hot Sling and didn't like it at all. DS was a big baby so maybe that is why it never worked for him but he looked smooched into the pouch and never seemed to be comfortable.

Re: Which Sling?
I have a Moby and it's REALLY long and will take some practice getting the hang of wrapping the way you want.
A friend of mine LOVES her Moby and uses it ALL the time.
I might try for a hot sling 2nd time around...or practice more with the Moby.

I have the MOBY and its pretty easy to get the hang of wrapping(sorry Chelle ) BUT it does take a minute or so if you've got a screaming baby not the best thing. BUT it has tons of holds and can be usedfor a long time. Overall I'd recommend it but I haven't used any other

I have the Moby too. I have to admit it is a little intimidating.. I definitely need more practice. But, it has a ton of different holds and can be used for a long time. Plus, I feel like it is really secure.
