which radio stations are playing Christmas music today?
I listened to 106.7 yesterday, which is playing Christmas music, but if I hear, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" or that godawful song that took a piece of classical music and put words to it, again, I'll throw the radio out the window.
Does anyone know of any other stations that are playing Christmas music today?

Try 97.5 (Walk radio on LI), or 99.9 (CT radio station that's playing music).

btw, they're playing ITMWTOTY again, but at least it's a different version...

A Very 80's Christmas
For those in the Nassau/Western Suffolk/Eastern Queens listening area, tomorrow (Saturday morning) from 9AM to 11AM on Long Island's 90.3FM, I'm co-hosting "A Very 80's Christmas."
It's 100% commercial-free and we'll only be playing songs released and recorded from 1980 through 1989. You know them, you love them, you can't live without them. (The Waitresses, Wham, The Pogues, Bruce, Erasure, XTC, etc.)
As we said, there are no commercial interruptions. I know some LIF'ers were kind enough to tune in last year, so I thought I'd post the info again.
As always, thanks, and please tell some friends.

I don't even know what it's called! Basically, it's a piece of very familiar classical music -- many brides use it to walk down the aisle -- and these people ruined it by adding lyrics!
now, I must halt work and find the song on the internets...
ETA: Well, the classical piece is Johann Pachelbel's Canon.
ETA #2: It's Christmas Canon (Trans-Siberian Orchestra). I really, really, really don't like this song.

I really hate that version which is surprising as we played Canon at our wedding, but it just annoys me as a Christmas song. I always change the station when I hear it.
I flipping HATE the Christmas shoes, too. KJOY named it the least fav. Christmas song this morning. #2 was the dogs barking to Jingle bells!
