Which pendant light do you like better for a shaker style kitchen (cherry cabinets, slate floor and cream granite)?
When we recently redid our kitchen we added an island. I am going to install two pendant lights over the island and do not want them visually to take up a lot of space since the kitchen/dining area is small. Which one of these two pendants do you like better? Any opinions appreciated. Thank you.

The 1st one. It has the "ghost" effect. I have quite a few pieces in our house that are transparent and you can't even tell they are there and therefore it takes up no visual space.

what type of hardware do you have on your cabinets? maybe match the lamp to that

The 1st one! You can always buy diff shades at either hd or lowes.
