Which is closer to LIRR station
Hey Ladies,
I wanted to know which of these properties is closer to the LIRR Ronkonkoma station and which you girls find as a better location. Thanks
House #1 bungaloo outside
#2 with a garage and full basement
#3 south of LIE though
#4 great property

I believe that the streets that 1 and 2 are on are pretty nice. I'm pretty sure that they are near each other and both close to the train. I believe that #4 is a bit west of those, not as close to the train and not in an area that I am as familiar with. I work in Ronkonkoma.

Johnson Ave is a very busy road, #4 is a cute area I think. I don't think any of those homes would take more than 5 min to get to Ronk station if you take back roads.

Kerry - #2 is really close to the LIRR - but it is on a main rd. Patchogue Holbrook Rd, across the street from Hiawatha school. It's about 1 min from my house.

I think #1 and #4 are the best out of the group. #4 is in a nice area we know some people who live over in that area.

If you can get the address to the property you can use MAPQuest or your favorite direction site to determine the exact distance between each location.

yes but Mapquest doesn't tell you were the train station is it just shows the train tracks which isn't too helpful. Thanks though

According to the LIRR website, the Ronkonkoma train station is located at the intersection of Smithtown Ave & Railroad Ave.
Link to mapquest address of ronkonkoma train from which you can judge the distance to the homes.
FYI
The easy way to determine the exact location of a rr station is to first look at a map of the stations
Then click on the station you want to locate...and about midway down the page on the left it will say "about ronkonkoma" (or whatever station you clicked on) and it will give you the address and a link to a map of the location.

#1 is closest- cute area- I drove around it last week.
#2 is also close, but on a busy road- but there is also a Taco Bell there...!
#3 is farthest
#4 is adorable, close, and in a great neighborhood.

and here's a map of house #4- the station is circled- and teh extra red dot is house #1
FYI- The Ronk station is at the south end of Hawkins.
