Which do you pick out first the counter top for the kitchen or...
the tile floor. I picked out a counter top I liked then my dh and I went to Procida tile to pick out a floor and nothing matched that I liked, the one that did match was almost white and I would be the one cleaning it so I said no.

We picked the floor first, we did a neutral tile floor because it went all the way to our front door also.
We matched the backsplash to the floor, and got the countertop last.

I did tile first. Granite was actually the last thing I picked.

all at the same time.
We had our house built and we needed to pick all of the colors so it could go into the contract

we have wood floors in our kitchen but I would imagine you should pick the tile first and then the couters.
