I have the Summer Infant Slim and Secure. So glad I didnt go for one of the more $$ Summer Infant monitors because this one is fine! It is very easy to use which works for me because I hate complicated electronics! I dont think I would have used the zoom feature at all on the more $$ models. Or the talk feature!

Same here. I would have never used the zoom, the slim & secure was perfect.

We had the Summer Infant BestView and now have the Baby Touch and I highly recommend both. They both have pan and zoom and the Baby Touch has the talk feature. These have all been invaluable to me! Both my kids move all over the place when they sleep, so I need to pan around to find them sometimes! And when you are having those paranoid moments and want to make sure they are still breathing, that zoom really comes in handy! I use the talk feature with my 2 year old every day. It's fantastic!

I have the Motorola video monitor with the 3.5" screen and it's awesome. I highly recommend it.

I had the Summer Infant Slim and Secure and then purchased the Baby Touch.
Slim and Secure was great, but after dropping the hand set multiple times it finally broke. I had no issues with this monitor and would have continued using it if we didn't break it. The Baby touch definitely has more bells and whisltes. I use some of them but would have been fine without them.
Both work great IMO.
