Where do you set up your coffee pot?
Ours is right under the cabinets but we pull it out so that its not directly beneath them.
We noticed that our brand new cabinet (the one above the coffee pot) seems to be getting dried out due to the steam from the coffee.

Ours is in our pantry in the box. Neither of us drink coffee. We have only used it once, and when we did we had to whip out the directions!!

ours is in the same exact type of spot. i didn't notice anything under the cabinets though

On the countertop...I have never noticed anything with the cabinets above...maybe just pull it out when you use it.

Mine is to the right of the cabinets...i had the same prob. the steam was getting on the cabinets so I moved it over.

Under the sink.... It only comes out with my mom comes to visit. I drink coffee, but for some reason, I don't like homemade coffee.

Neither of us drink coffee so it stays in a cabinet, but when we have company I put it on the counter. I've never noticed if the cabinets were effected by the steam...

Always on the countertop, but our lovely metal, pre 1960 metal cabinets are not affected by the steam

Ditto  A bridal shower gift we still have not used. We are not big coffee drinkers either.
