where do you buy your organic veggies and meat?
I am in Eastern Nassau.
I would like to find a place with a lot of selection. I am tired of going from one grocery store to another.

I always have to store hop. I have yet to find it all in one location. That said I go to Trader Joes and Whole foods usually, but lately have been going to FairWay more.....I can usually get 90% of what I need at Fairway.
. Theres a place by me, but they dont have too much and its not usually worth my trip.

I getmine delivered-they can do 3 months or 6 months at a time!
I bought-6 months worth--cutlery and a giant freezer my bill for 6 people is 140.00 week.

Not that this will help you, but we did an organic veggie/fruit farm co-op this summer and LOVE it (we get stuff every week from May-November). It's not too $$, and the produce is perfect, local, & organic. I definitely want to do it again next year (we split it with our BIL/SIL).
Maybe something to look into next year for you!

We're doing this right now. I joined a CSA- Golden Earthworm. The veggies they deliver are delicious!

We're doing this right now. I joined a CSA- Golden Earthworm. The veggies they deliver are delicious!
That's the one we use too. They're fabulous, and have several pick-up locations across the island!
