Where do you bathe your baby/child? im using the kitchen sink and ......

it seems like i am the only one ,people are amazed that that is where i give Gabriel his bath does anyone else use the sink? i also have an infant jacuzzi tub but it is such a pain setting up and putting away please tell me there are other sink tubbers out there

my daughter is a sink tubber..
we have a big sink.
i make sure it's clean, and in she goes.

We have an oversized sink and they have always been bathed in it. Should be good for at least a few months more.

I sit the bath tub over the sink. I've bathed him in the sink when I didn't feel like dealing with the tub.

I used the kitchen sink for both my girls until they were too big for it and I use it for my grandson when he stays with me. These old knees can't handle using the tub.

We are sink users too - my mom did it for four of us and we turned out just fine. I didn't see the need to buy a baby tub. When she gets too big, we'll go to the regular tub.

We hate our infant bathtub. We lay DD on a towel and give her a sponge bath. The bathtub is too much of a pain.

I use the regular bath tub...she sits up and is fine. At the beginning I used a baby sling in the bath tub.

When my DD was to big for the infant tub and wasn't really sitting up on her own I used my kitchen sink. Once she was sitting up on her own I moved to the tub.

Here's an embarassing confession...I *still* bathe my DD in the sink. And I'm not talking about the 4 month old, I'm talking about the 2 YEAR old! I hate bathing her in the tub--she slides all over the place and my back kills me in that position so I said, you know what...she still fits in the sink, so... What's the difference anyway, we're using water and soap, right?!

never in the sink. Always in the baby tub or a regular tub.

I put the tub over the sink and will try to do that as long as I can. Then I'll probably put her IN the sink because I have those PITA shower doors and it's just about impossible to bathe her in there unless I get in with her.

I used to bathe Molly in the sink but now that she is older, Jack and Molly get a bath together at night.

A funny side note is that my mom alwyas bathes Molly in the sink at her house and after she was done the other night Jack wanted a turn. Nothing funnier than a skinny almost three year old taking a sink bath!

I put his bath tub in the kitchen sink. I think soon I will have to retire it since he is splashing everywhere and trying to get out of it.

We put his tub with the infant insert on the kitchen counter by the sink.
