Where did you have your childs baptism party?

Hi Ladies-
This is my first post on parenting! DD was born May 10th! We are doing well and planning her baptism.
I was wondering what you all did for their parties? We are looking in Nassau, and have about 75 people!

for our first DD we had it at the George Washington Manor a sit down dinner (3-7)in the mount vernon room. we had a lil over 100 and plenty of room for the clowns and the children. (25)
we got raves about the 3 dessert plate, we added that, each guests gets their own plate with 3 desserts that you pick. we also got the cordial bar, cookie trays and cocktail hour- again all add ons.

for this baby on the way we are going to try and have it at the Westbury Manor. If available we are going to get the seafood boat and martini bar.

I had a buffet at the Old Street in Smithtown. The food there is really good and it is very reasonable.

We are having it at La Bella Vita in Queens.

We had ours at Jonathans in Huntington (22ppl) sit down 4 course dinner & open bar. It was great but the bar bill was more then the food

we had DS's at Carlyle on the Green...we had our wedding there so we thought it would be nice to have it there. Plus we had about 150 pp so we really couldnt do it at a restaurant...

We had about 70-75 (can't remember!) people at DS' christening. We had it at Tesoro's in Westbury.

DD's Baptism will be at Per Un' Angelo in Wantagh in July.

We had DS at Pompei in West Hempstead. There was plenty of room. We had over 100 guest. There was still room for a dj & the dance floor.

We are having DS' next weekend at Verdi's in Whitestone, but they also have a Westbury location.

We are having it at the Milleridge Village....

We are having it at our home, but the two places that we were considering were Fox Hollow or The Inn at New Hyde Park.

We have had them at home in the yard.

We had it at Sergios is Massapequa. We had about 70 people. It was too small for that many, I wouldnt recommend.

Robbie's was at the American Legion in Babylon - which was PERFECT for us because football was on and most of our friends were still child-less. There was a bar downstairs and they were allowed to drink (free because we bought a liquor package) and shoot pool and watch TV downstairs - and eat and chat upstairs in the party room. About 60 people attended.

Noah's was also his first birthday. We borrowed a friend's house and had a pool party there to celebrate! There were probably about 50 people including kids.
