I've started the search for DDs big girl bedroom set Chat Icon Chat Icon, and have found a few things I like but was just looking for some more ideas. Where did you purchase you kids bedroom furniture/set from? And if you have pictures, please post.

Thanks!

We are going with the Stanley Young America My Haven set. We are getting the half a bunk bed in case we want to do bunk beds for the boys down the line, the tall dresser and the trundle. We saw the set at Behr's and are ordering it from Lauters in PA. Not only are their prices cheaper than Behr's but there is no sales tax and no shipping charge and they deliver is fully assembled and set it up in the room for you. We are waiting and ordering it at the end of the month, they said it takes about 8 weeks to arrive. I wanted a real wood set to last years, we have a dresser from Bob's in the nursery now and DH moved it to vacuum under it and the wood veneer chipped! He slid it 3 inches, if that and it cracked so how can it with stand 2 boys!! So we wanted to spend a little more for something that would last.

Thanks for this info. I will definitely have to look into this. I was also hoping to get her a set that will hopefully last a while.

And Ophelia, thanks for the suggestions. I will also check out Ikea and Ashley (I'm all about the space savers).

Check out Land of Nod. They have beautiful sets for both boys and girls.

We got the mattress/boxspring from Sleepy's and the bedding/decor from PBK. When she gets older we'll add a headboard.
