When your child has to buy a b-day gift for a party
do you just pick it up or do you let your child pick it out. I attempted to do the latter and totally learned my lesson.

I pick it out, or if I'm stuck between 2 things I'll let him decide. He is only 2 though!

I buy it, wrap it, and put it away until the moment we are leaving for the party.
