When would you or did you tell?
When would you or did you tell your immediate family members? We have one child and didn't tell people until I was 4 months pregnant (I had a MC before that pregnancy). This time around I am about 10 or 11 weeks. I heard and saw the heartbeat two weeks ago and I have another next Thursday. I don't want to wait too long but what is too soon?
Thoughts??

we told right away, i would just wait since you are almost 12 weeks already, but it is a personal decison, so do as you feel you have to!! Congrats!

we were so scared to tell this time around b/c i also had a previous MC and we felt like it would "jinx" it. i ended up telling my mom by 8 weeks b/c i couldnt take not. everyone else we waited until about 11. its such a hard secrety!
do it whenever you are ready!!!
in the long run i was glad my family knew b/c their love and support was unbelievable.

I was scared to tell & really wanted to wait until 12 weeks, but my mom saw it in my face. We also told the ILs this weekend. We will tell the rest of the family on Thanksgiving.
I think you have to tell when you feel comfortable.
ETA: I was 7w5d when I told my mom & 8w when we told ILs.

first - I waited 12-13 weeks. I'm almost 7 and haven't said anything.
I'll be 9 at Thanksgiving and I think I will let it spill then - can you wait 2 more weeks for that?

I told mom the day I had the BFP and my sister the next day (she had a 1 month old and I didn't want to wake her up). We told IL's the following weekend because they live in Israel and there was a 7 hour time difference.

WE told family right away but then again we did IVF so they knew what we were going through.
I had to telll work at 8 weeks becasue of the cafeteria duty they assigned me. I had to me moved. I was also starting to pop earlier.
If things were different we would have waited a bit longer for family and probably three months for everyone else.

We told our parents early on, about 6 weeks, but everyone else, we waited until 12 weeks.
