There are some songs that just never lose their touch!
I just came across a CD that I made maybe 5yrs ago, different variety, kiddie music, Billy Joel, Italian music, and all of a sudden I hear
THERE COMES A TIME...........
I BLASTED IT to no end and was singing at the top of my lungs in the car
I had to call my brother right away because he was always such a big inspiration music-wise. My brothers played guitar and drums for many years (The Bon Jovi years ) and the one that played guitar, he would always listen to ballads or guitar solos, and BEG us to listen to certain ones, and he'd be like YOU FEEL IT, YOU FEEL IT ????

So this morning, as I was singing along (luckily my windows were closed in the car, so I didnt scare anyone ) I had to leave him a message and of course put the phone by the speaker....

This song has SOOOO much meaning, so powerful... and now having children of my own, just having experienced life so much since 1985!, with what's going on in the world today... It just tugged at my heartstrings once again....

Am I a weirdo, or does anoyne else ABSOLUTELY LOVE this song?????

Im even considering calling Z100 tomorrow

OMG this is the funniest thing ever!

I was playing christmas carols today for Megan (Im a christmas nut and trying to make my daughter one! LOL) and all of a sudden this song started playing! I was like ***??

Turns out my sister had downloaded it one day cause she likes it and it went in that folder and I must have listened to it like 100 times today! HAHA!

OMG Thiere's another addicting song in my head, it's the song that was played for the World Cup in 1990 (Italian song) another "group song", sooooo awesome It's actually by Gianna Nannini & Edoardo Bennato, but the crowd sings in on the chorus parts...

oh some other adorable memories of WE ARE THE WORLD. OUr friends in Italy would LOVE to learn to sing ANYTHING in English, theyd sing Madonna, Bryan Adams, and of course We Are the World.. They had NOOO IDEAA what the words meant, but they sang word for word.. soooo cute
This one guy was COmPLETELY obsessed with Madonna and Michael Jackson and he'd ask us line by line to translate each song for him


and yesterday, I was also singing "Vivo Per Lei" all day in the car

I actually looked it up on YOUTUBE not that long ago. It was neat to see all the familiar faces again ... and SO much younger!
