When should I order my crib?
I'm pretty sure DH and I are just buying a crib. We have his furniture from when he was a kid, it's in really good condition (and we have actually been using it as bedroom furniture since we dont have a real set yet). BUT we are thinking of just using his furniture for  and buying a new set for us. So, all we should need is a crib and a glider. When should we order the crib?? I am already 21.5 weeks and I feel like I need to order it ASAP. Only thing is, the nursery right now is filled with boxes and we need to get in there to measure and make sure DHs old furniture fits in there well. Once we are done redoing our bedroom we can move the boxes (which should be this weekend)...so that would mean we prob wont be able to choose and order a crib untill the following weekend (I will be 23 weeks). Is that too late?? We will prob just order from BBB.

We ordered our cribs from BBB last week and were told that they take 12 - 14 weeks to arrive. I'd order them soon!

Guess I'm behind. We haven't even picked a crib yet!

My MIL ordered our crib when I was 28 weeks and it was delivered when I was 31 weeks.
I got the crib from BBB. I think it depends on whether there is stock in a particular crib-if there is, you can always order it and have it delivered when you need it.

If I remember correctly, delivery took 8-12 weeks.
we ended up getting my crib a week before DS was born, but my glider didn't come until 2 weeks AFTER DS was born.
I would give yourself at least 12 weeks.

When I ordered dd#1's furniture..they told me 8-10 wks but was here in 2 wks!!

I just ordered my crib at 24 weeks and thats because there are so many great sales going on now I decided to order mine from JCPenny.

i dont think so... i got mine from PBK and it came within 2 weeks. i was almost 30 wks when i ordered it.

no not every store takes that long it depends on where you order it from I just ordered mine from JCPenny and they said in 2 weeks

ITA! Mine came in a WEEK! But others take up to 12 weeks!
