When should I have my sister's baby shower?
She can only come to NY 4th of July Weekend.
I feel bad for everyone because it "ruins" their weekend to have it then but that is the only choice I have.
I was thinking then I would have it Sunday Afternoon.
What do you think? She goes back the 8th.

Definitely have it while she is here. Let everyone know in advance that you are planning her shower on July 6th (that Sunday) so they don't make any plans.

If that's the only weekend you can have it, then go for it. And, I think that Sunday afternoon would be a good time. If people do choose to go away, then they just come back a bit early, that's all. That's what families are for right?

If it's the only weekend, then do it!
I would send out an evite to all close friends and family to serve as a Save the Date and then send out your invites right after Memorial Day.

I agree...Sunday is fine and I like the idea about sending out save the dates...makes it easier for everyone...the people invited and you!
