When do you think it will be better to go on a mediterranean cruise? When DS is still an immobile infant or when he is a toddler?

We plan to go on a Mediterranean cruise. I was planning to go next yr when DS is a little over a year but now I'm thinking maybe it will be better if we go this fall, when he is still immobile.

Do you think it will be better when he is immobile or when he is a toddler and can walk around?

YOU may enjoy yourself more while he is less mobile!!!

DS is 13 months and ALL OVER THE PLACE nowChat Icon It's exhausting running after him around my cousins built in pool.....never mind a cruise ship!

Definitely an infant. They take naps & you won't be chasing him all over the ship.

I agree, when he is an infant, you will be able to enjoy it more!

We are planning this trip for 2011 or 2012. However, we are leaving our kids at home with the grandparents.

If you are going to take them, I would think it would be more manageable when they are infants.

It would definitely be more manageable when your DC is an infant, but personally I would be careful about taking an infant to another country. Infants immune systems are weaker and they do not have all their shots. JMO

We just took our 2 year old on a cruise and had a blast. Yes it was a lot more running around, but it was A LOT of fun experiencing it with her.
