When do you start lactating?
I'm at my 18th week and DH & I noticed a lil bit of clear stuff coming out the nipple- I think it's too early for that- Any one else having this happen?? I'm supposedly due April 7th .... guess I will find out more in my next OB visit.

I started leaking colostrum (the clear stuff) at 16 weeks

You are not really lactating yet, just your body getting ready. For some its earlier than others but perfectly normal

I noticed some of that clear stuff too abit after I felt the baby kicking around 20+ weeks. I think the breastmilk is supposed to come a few days before you deliver.

I don't think milk comes in until after you give birth. Mine are out of control. I sent my mother my most recent belly pic (she lives in Florida), and she called me last night and said "holy sh!t, your boobs got huge!" I was a 40DD PRE-pregnancy.

I'm 32.5 weeks and haven't started leaking yet. Everyone is different though.

my milk came in the day i left the hospital with DD#1. i was there for 4 days recovering from a c-section...

i just got new bras-- again!!!
the ones i got a few weeks ago didn't quite work out--- at least i am better supported now!!
