When do you register for childbirth classes?
I have no idea when I am supposed to do this. I am going to Good Samaritan Hospital and received an envelope with prices from my doctor at my 1st appt but I don't know how soon in advance I have to do this...

when are u due? I waited until week 30 to only find out I was way too late...I suggest weeks 20-25 get all the info and sign up.

I am due April 12th. I have an appt with my OB tomorrow, I think I will just see what they say.

If you're sure about taking the class then by all means, you should take it. But DH were on the fence and wound up getting the DVD Laugh and Learn and I really feel like I learned everything I may have learned in a childbirth class. And for the bargain price of $40!

I just registered for my Childbirth Education class which begins on January 3rd.
The class is 12 hours over a 6 week period for $60....what a deal (this includes infant CPR and a maternity tour)

my hospital recommended at least 4-6 weeks prior to due date.
i'm due 11/22 and I just finished mine this past Saturday.

Thanks for the info on DVD Nicole - I did not do the classes.....I'll check Amazon for the video!
