when do babies
watch those baby einstein videos..alex is 4 1/2 weeks old..can they see past the 8-12 inches yet? she has finally been a happy baby and today i had her on the activity mat..im so happy she is just hanging out..i was just wondering when they can actually see the t.v.

I didn't try at that point (he was not a happy camper then!) but I don't think at that age they can see that far to watch the TV. If you wanted to try, see how she reacts to it if you sit her in her bouncy. Try it out

at about 6 weeks I put Aly in her bouncy in front of our living room tv (its a 60in so I thought it was big enough that maybe she could see it) - I dont know how much of the video she can actually make out but she def sees something she likes because she was staring at it for the whole duration of the movie. I think they see the colors and movement. I have done this 2 or 3 times so far and she seems to like it. give it a try!
