When did your kids stop napping?

My boys are 2.5 and up until the day we changed their cribs into beds they were napping 3 hours a day.

Once we made it into beds they have become crazy. They fight sleeping, if one falls asleep the other immediately wakes them up. If we give them nothing in the room, they destroy the room, I am talking pulling the radiator off the wall, taking the mattress off of the beds, stuff like that. We have removed the changing table, the drawers under the bed as well as locked all of the dresser drawers with magnetic locks so they can't even open the drawer an inch.

Nothing is working. I would understand if they gradually grew out of napping, but the only thing that caused this is the beds. We can't go back to cribs now, since they will jump out of them. They are very tired and cranky and falling all over the place since they are so tired.

What can I do? Separating them would not work since they would cry for each other, and truthfully I don't want to redo another room.

Any help would be great!

My son still naps and he is 3.5. DD is 19 months old.

Your kids sound like they DEF still need their naps.

Yes they definitly do. How do you get him to stay in bed and not run around and play?
