When did your baby start teething?
I know someone whose baby is 4 months and he has been crying and putting his fist in his mouth. I think he is teething and figured I would get the advice from the experts.

Jared is 4 months old. He's drooling and eating his hand all the time. The doctor says that it's common for babies to do that a few months before they actually get teeth.

By 4 months old Jack had 4 teeth so it could definately be teething.

Yeah, I think it can start as early as 2 - 3 months. It starts with the drooling and munching on their hands. Jake is 3 months today and he's been doing this for a couple of weeks now though he doesn't seem to have any real discomfort yet.

yeah it is a habbit of what most babies do but it can v ery well be teething as well. Mariss popped two teeth at 5 months old

Robbie started at 3 months and had.
8 teeth by 6-7 months

Alex has been doing this since he was about 4 months old. He is now six months and no teeth yet but I keep hoping any day now one will make an appearance.

I've sworn Cole was teething for several months now. He just cut his first 2 teeth (at the same time!) last week. He's almost 8 months old.

Jenn- Our Emily started teething at four months. She didn't get her first tooth until she was seven months old. She drooled and had her fist in her mouth constantly.

My son got his first tooth completely in at 20 weeks,a nd the second one came in a day before 21 weeks--- after that it felt like everyother week and before we knew it he had a whole set of chompers!!!!

four months the drooling, crying...first teeth, two of them came one week shy of 8 months. Four more are about to pop out form the top.

My DS started teething at 6 weeks old. He got his first 2 teeth around 2.5 months and another 2 by 3 months old. He is now 16 months old and his 2 year molars are cutting through. I've read teething is an inherited trait, and I was the same way (except I got my teeth earlier).

my dd is 3 months and i thought for sure she had started teething she has been drooling a lil and constantly putting her hands and sucking her forarm when we hold her...the dr said babies generally do this she said its called self soothing.
