When can a toddler use a blanket and pillow?
thinking baout converting her crib to a daybed just wanted to see if ts ok she is 2( just turned two on 9/16)

I gave Kaitee a blanket and pillow when she moved to a twin bed at 17 months old.

DS#1 got a blanket at 12 months and a pillow at 18.
DS#2 got a blanket at around 6 months (thats the ONLY way he would sleep.... snuggled with his blanket, and he STILL sleeps with it at 3 years old). He got a pillow at 18 months.
DD has a blanket.... I think since 7 or 8 months. Same as #2. Will only sleep snuggled with it (she is 13 months).

DD has been sleeping with a blanket for about a year now. No pillow yet though I might give it a try now.

she has had a blanket from day 1, pillow just started at about 16 months.

For both DC, it was during their 2nd winter, so they were both around 18 months or so.

Im wondering...for the PP's - were all of your DC in a bed already? Can you use a pillow in a crib? DD is still in a crib and I see no reason to take her out yet.
