When buying fall clothes for your DC....
How much bigger do you get the clothes in? My DS is almost 5 months old, and I wanted to get a few heavy sweaters for the fall. He's currently 16 pounds and 26 inches long. I'm not sure whether to get size 6-12 months or 12-18 months.
FTM here s any help is appreciated

What size is he in now? If he's in 3-6 now, I'd get 6-12.

At this age you may need to purchase multiple sizes in fall/winter wear. I would get a few things now, but see what your DCs growth curve looks like. It was always annoying when my child would outgrow the clothing I purchased for the season and even though there were a few more cool months the stores only had season inappropriate clothing available.
