When a friend sends you pics from vacation, are you more interested in the landscape or the people pics?
My friend just sent me pics from her trip to St. Barths. About 95% of the pics were landscape pics and all I wanted to see were pics of her and her sister (who I haven't seen in years). Am I alone here? I could really care less about the landscape pics.

I much rather see pics from vacations with people in them then the landscape. Esp if it's the Caribbean. It's all the same.

I like both equally.
But when I send vacation pictures to friends and family, we aren't in a lot of them. The location is more interesting than we are- they see us all the time.  Plus I don't want to be like it's "all about us".

My dad flipped through our last vacation pics so fast because "no on is in them". I kinda agreed, so I guess we're "people" people.

I like a good mix, if its somewhere I haven't been. But mostly I like the people pictures definitely!

I usually like the people shots of other people's photos, but I like my landscape shots of my vacations (I think its because I don't want to see myself in photos! ). I don't think you can get the real sense of someone's vacation by the landscape photos, unless of course they're a really good photographer and have a super duper camera.

I love seeing them both. When it is anywhere tropical, I love seeing the beaches & the water but I enjoy seeing the people also.

people- cause 5-10 yrs down the line when you are looking back the landscape is cool and all but not pictures that I would want in an album or framed.

I feel the same way. When we go away we only take a handful of pics of "us" and the rest are landscape. We know what we look like - as does everyone else who knows us - it's the destination that we're interested in.
That said...I do like seeing people pics too - I like both equally.

I notice that when I go on vacation, I'll take a TON of landscape pics, but when I look back at them I'll flip through the landscapes to see the people... so I guess I prefer pics with people in them.
That is, unless we're talking about Greece. A friend of mine just came back and I could look at her landscape pics all day long.
