When a buyer pays through pay pal..how long before it hits your pay pal account?
My buyer paid yesterday according to pay pal but I have not received the payment into my paypal account as of now which is over 24 hours.

right away
could the money be there and you haven't claimed it?
what does it say in your my ebay? is it telling you to ship it?

How do you claim it? When I go to the item that sold it is says that the buyer paid with Pay Pal and that I can click on the pay pal transaction to view it. I click on it and it brings me to the paypal login screen but it says the transaction ID is invalid. Ebay hasn't told me to ship it. Also, do I need to create an invoice for her?

I don't know much, and I could be wrong, but I think that you need to send her an invoice before she can pay you?

you can send her an invoice- but she is saying she paid
you don't have to send one to get paid
when you log into your paypal account- not thru the transaction- does it have anything listed in there?

hmm.... I would call paypal
click on contact us- and you should be able to find a number
I would also send the buyer a message asking them to check their account- that you did not recieve the money

I would not send anything until the payment hits your account....sometimes, if they pay by e-check, it will say on ebay that they paid but then on paypal, it will show that the check has not cleared yet (it can take 4-5 business days to clear)

I am not an expert on eBay but I know when DH sells item and it sells, the buyer pays and it can take a couple of days to process the transation if they put a credit card or a checking account through paypal. I think, I am not 100% sure. Also, on eBay if you go to your items sold section, click on the dollar sign symbol and what does it say?

Exactly, that's what I was trying to explain. I believe the $ symbol will tell you when it will clear, if the buyer processed a check.

no- don't send anything
if she paid by echeck- you would see it waiting to clear in your paypal account
I have had money in my paypal- that didn't show paid in ebay- but never the other way around

ok- that means she did send the payment
it hasn't cleared yet
but you still should be seeing it in your paypal account- as uncleared
when ebay tells you to ship it- most likely monday or tuesday- check your paypal account first
is your paypal account new?
I am thinking that once the payment clears - paypal is going to have you claim the money (it's easy- you just click on a button in paypal)

It isn't new but we did just update all our info on it except the account number stayed the same.
Should I still contact the buyer. She has execellent feedback and they all said she pays very fast.

ok- I would wait until monday- and then I would email paypal if it's not showing up in your acount
no, I would not contact the buyer- unless it was to say- I see that you paid, it has not cleared yet- I will send the item as soon as it clears
