What's your favorite type of shoe to wear with skinny jeans (besides uggs)?
I bought my first pair the other day and besides having to get them shortened a lot, none of my shoes look good with them. So besides uggs and boots that go over the jeans, what is your favorite casual look for shoes with skinny jeans?

I'm in FL   so ballet flats would be okay but I have yet to try on a pair that fit me right. I have such a narrow foot... any recs?

Steve Madden has some with very low sides; probably good for narrow feet. I have these

Wedge sandals look good with skinnies too.
Also - try Sam Edelman for ballet flats. They have cute styles and I think they're pretty narrow.

Ok i'm going to check out some ballet flats. I just walked across campus and checked out all the girls shoes who had on skinny jeans  and most had either ballet flats or those sandals that have the strip up the middle and buckle at the ankle. But those sandals look awful on me!

Flats or sandles or heels.
With flats or sandles, I"ll roll up the pant leg a little bit, not to make them capris, but to pick them up off my foot a bit. Very cute!

as a short girl...I find once you "shorten" skinny jeans- you mess with the lines
so that might be why your having issues
I prefer them really tight at the ankles- and I let them bunch up a bit
I love them with pumps or peep toes for FL
booties or boots in the winter

I have this problem too. I just got a pair from Nine West that is very narrow - though I have tried on others Nine West flats in the past that were too wide. I also have an AK Sport pair that is narrow.

I almost always wear them with ballet flats or booties. You are so lucky to be in Florida! In the summer I wear flip flops. I just bought two pairs of Toms to wear in the spring/summer. Can not wait! Try the gap for ballet flats. I'm not sure if they are narrow but they are crazy comfy!

Thanks! I have a lot of options to go look for now. I didn't think of rolling up the bottoms of the jeans but I'll see how that looks.

I'm a shorty, too, and that's what I do. Depending on what else you're wearing it looks pretty cute!

Sam Eldelman run very narrow! I also think that the tory burch flats run more narrow as well.
When i first started wearing skinnies i didnt think anything looked good with them, I just wasnt used to the fit, now I realize basically every shoe looks good!

casual look? flats or my golashes.
summer super casual..cuffed with flipflops.
u can transform an outfit with a pair of sunglasses and a funky piece of jewelry...just dont over-accessorize, you'll look cheap and tacky lol
