Whats the Gap return policy like?
I just found a sweater that SIL gave to me from Christmas 2005 with the gift receipt. Totally forgot I even had it! I cant still return that can I? Get a store credit? Or is that a long shot and just donate it?

Haven't done it recently, but once my brother returned a (used  ) pair of jeans to the gap well over a year after he purchased them - without tags OR a receipt.
NO idea how he got away with that one.

hey that gives me hope! if he could do it without a receipt i'm gonna at least give it a try! i still had the gift receipt in the box!

I say it's worth a shot!! IMO, they've always been pretty lax about their return policy. Not sure if that's changed in the past several years or not, but it's always been my experience before.
And I swear... my brother is much more responsible now.
