What's the best OTC allergy med?

I am in hell. Zrytec usually works for me but this year it's just taking the edge off, barely.
I have been taking it in the morning and Benadryl at night.
Anything work better? Allegra maybe?

Allegra D. The only thing that works for me when they are really bad.

I used to work in a pharmacy and the pharmacist swore that your body got used to the medicine and it didn't work as well, so he would switch it up for himself/his kids.if Zyrtec isn't working anymore, it can't hurt to try Allegra or Claritin.

Feel better!

I like Alavert the most...the active ingredient is the same as regular Claritin, but it dissolves on your tongue so (I feel, anyway...) it seems to start working quicker than swallowing a pill. I usually feel relief within about 30 minutes.

I can't comment on any of the ones with decongestants...those make me feel like I'm flying so I stay away from those.

Feel better!!

Try the 12 hour one- the 24 hour one can interfere with/cause sleep problems.
