DD was 2 last year for xmas time. her big gift was a kitchen. (also got pot and pan set to go with it and fake food) She also got a bunch of arts and crafts things (finger paints, crayola wonder kits , etc), kiddie training roller skates, a few age appropriete learnins toys from vtech. (cant remmeber exact ones)
She will be 3.5 for xmas this year and I got her a leapster and games for it, catridges for her vsmile system, colorforms, more people/rooms/furntiture for her doll house...

We are going to buy DD a good solid wood kitchen set...I'm still on the hunt. Also I like the art activity centers where she can sit and color..One Step Ahead has a few nice ones.
Of course probably some assorted toys but not too much little stuff.

I think we are going to get a nice dollhouse, some Little People palace stuff (Royal tea party and some other stuff), and the most recent addiction: Barbie dolls DD is 2.75 y.o. now so she is getting into the 3+ toys.

DS will be 2.5 and loves all things with wheels.
I just got him a table and chaird set, not for a gift just thought he would like it and he's enjoying them and his easal quit a bit

he's dying for a globe...but one that is raised so he can see the mountians and hills.

he fell in love with this one...but its 55.00, dh could not get onboard with that...put it out to the universe and dh found same truck at tjmaxx for 20.

if it helps at all...do you have floors that aren't carpeted?
mine is a train fanatic...seldomly uses his train table..i think we are selling it. he just makes trains on the ground that stretch out the lenght of my living room.
