What's a good favor for the "summer" season?
For DD's baptism... not looking for something religious... maybe something more geared for summer...

What about a potted plant? You can get terra cotta pots and cute ribbon at Michael's or AC Moore pretty inexpensive, and then flowering plant 6 packs (maybe geraniums) and potting soil pretty inexpensively at Home Depot or Loews.

Depending on the age of the children, Sidewalk Clak is always a favorite. Sometimes you can get it at the dollar store or Michaels.

yup! we did this for my friends wedding shower, and everyone really liked it! i bought mini terra cotta plants for like $.50 each at michaels, then a flat of plants ( 48 plants) for like $11-12... then put a plant in each pot. i put a tag on them that said " growing in love" or something like that... people liked them and went home and planted the plants in their gardens for the summer

we;ve gotten few wedding favors like this, the wrapper says a personalized quote and they came in little holders from the dollar store, it was practical and affordable Go on the Yankee Candle website, hey of you choose my idea that means I get invite to the christening  Just kidding
