What would you rather for a Bon Voyage Gift?
We want to give my parents something for paying for our cruise. We thought it would be nice to get them something from the cruiseline and have it in their stateroom when they arrive.
What would you rather?

There was no "other" choice! My parents are taking their first cruise in August and I'm going to get them shipboard credit. Either casino credit or shipboard credit so that they can have some drinks on us! Just an idea.....

I have always gotten my parents something for when they cruise from DH and me
We have gotten them chocolate strawberries, or champagne or casino credit usually. The flowers are nice, but IMO, nto worth it since they still look great after a week and you had to leave them.

The baskets and flowers you cant take off the ship.
I would go with either the cookies or strawberries. It's something they can nibble on in their room through out the cruise - especially if they have a mini fridge in the room.
For my DH I surprised him with a cake in our stateroom and since we had a mini fridge in the room we kept the cake in the fridge. Every night we would get milk and have cake and milk in our room.

I'd go with the cookies, b/c the strawberries you have to eat right away, and they may not be hungry.
I think this is a really nice idea--I didn't even know you could do that. How do you send something to someone's room, when you are not going on the cruise with them? I wish I had known about this when my MIL was on a cruise for her 60th birthday.
