What week do they start internals
I have my 35 week appointment today and I am not in the mood for an internal. If she tries to do one I am going to ask her to wait for next week.
Do they even start them this early? I can't remember anything!

My office starts at 35 wks, but I had an appt at 34wk2d and they waited till my next appt at 36wk4d to do my first internal.

I had my 36 wk appt on Monday & there was no mention of it. I guess I should expect it at my next appt this coming Monday, if not I'll ask.

as if one is EVER in the "mood" for an internal 
My OB didn't do one until i was officially overdue. But I thought I remember hearing others doing it at 36 weeks.

If you are having a scheduled c-section, they usually don't give internals. I know my office doesn't, but I had to have one because of the pressure I was feeling.
Call your office and ask if scheduled c-sections get internals!

I went to the dr. this morning - she was going to do an internal but I asked for her to do it next week.
Ro - she said with scheduled c-sections that she does one internal and then the rest are basically optional (she said some girls actually ask for them could you imagine lol)
So, I'm safe till next week! Thank god Jack's not coming to that appt. with me - that's all I need my son to see!

Good to know Diana. I have an appt at 35wks and I want her to start 'em up so I know where I'm at But I certainly wouldn't be volunteering for one if I had a csection planned!
