What was your favorite new baby gift?
A good friend of mine just had her first and I want to send her something great. No clothes or blankets bc I know she has a ton. What was the favorite thing you got?

I know you said no blankets - but what I was going to say is
A hooded towel with the child's name on it
It was from Potterybarnkids.
I love it!!!
It was her first personalized gift (since we didn't find out)

I got a personalized hooded towel from PBK too that I love. It's so cute. I got a really beautiful blanket - not a recieving blanket but a really, really nice one that I loved. More like a stroller blanket.
And a GC to Picture People was great too.

my neighbor (her dd is 3 months older) made me a basket of all things I would never would have know I needed. I make the same basket for first time mom's now. Things I add:
Tylenol
burp clothes
take along wipes
disposable changing pads
poop bags
gas drops
teething tablets
plain white undershirts
stain sticks or wipes
you can also add diapers (always good), binkys, hand sanitizer, Lotion etc.

i gave her all this kind of stuff for her shower, she said i was the most practical person she knows! hah.
