What about rain boots? Shoes for snow?

I don't bother with rainboots but I always get him a good pair of snow boots. He's almost 2.

DS has couple pairs of Converse, a pair of Nikes for gym days and rain boots. I always get him a pair of Bear Paws in the winter and then a cheap pair of snow boots for playing outside.

Converse. They are the only things that stay on her feet (16 months old).

I have a DD, but when Stride Rite had their BOGO sale I bought her nice heavy snow boots and a pair of "nicer" sneakers. SHe has many dressy shoes, but I like her to be comfy. I also bought her a pair of crocs and she LOVES them!

My kids have wide feet so they are in stride right shoes. They each have one pair of:
sneakers
dress shoes (we have/had 7 events where they needed dress shoes in the past month and a few more coming up)
winter boots
rain boots (I got them for almost free with credits at rue la la - I paid for shipping).
