What sauce do they use for boneless spare ribs? Want to make a roast with it.
I am going to make a Pork Roast this weekend and want to use the sauce the chinese restaurants use when they make the boneless spare ribs. Is is a sweet bbq like sauce. Does anyone know what this is or something similar that I can make or buy? Thanks.

Mikee's makes a good rib sause. You can find it in the ethnic asile at Stop&Shop.

I just made this tonight from my Better Homes and Garden cookbook.
Mix 3 tablespoons orange/pineapple/or apricot preserves
1/3 cup catsup
1 clove garlic minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce.
Spread this on the ribs (if you boil them for 20-30 mins before it cuts the cooking time). Cook for 25-30 min in the oven at 350

DH cooks this recipe I found for him from Epicurious, and he says they are just like the Chinese ribs. I am sure you could adapt it.
