Not my craziest, but I think it's funny . . .

When I was in high school my kickline/dance team got to walk in the NYC parade every year. One year, the weather was awful, rainy, windy and cold, so my coach decided we could keep our windbreakers and sweats on and we had clear ponchos on top (not a great look, but whatever,it kept us warm).

Fastforward to about halfway through the parade, and I notice people pointing and smiling at me. I thought people were just admiring my dedication and school spirit (I had a big smile on my face despite the yucky weather). Then, I start feeling a little cold and drafty on my legs. Then I start having trouble walking. I look down and see that my sweats have fallen and are literally down around my ankles. And because I had my windbreaker on, which was long, it covered my skirt that was underneath so it looked like I was naked on the bottom

I finished the parade w/one hand holding up my sweats and the other holding my pom poms. Ahhhh, the memories

I think I was too drunk to remember


I remember once for Hoboken St Patty's I was taking a ton of pics all day with my new camera. I was dating DH at the time. I guess at some point I was getting a bit drunk and must've dropped the camera and broke it. I was a little too out of it to even notice it was falling apart and I was handing DH (my BF at the time) my camera for more pics.
Anyway, next weekend comes and I go to visit him on LI. I kept asking all week to see the pics. He changed the subject, but I didn't think anything of it. Anyway, he puts the memory card in his laptop so I could see some pics. I was going through them all when I noticed a bunch of black pics or partial pics. I asked DH what happened and he told me the story then showed me my camera (which the lense was hanging off). How I didn't even notice was beyond me and I snapped away all day and night not knowing.
He was sweet and got me a new camera for my b-day

i was in high school. my best friends boyfriend was older -he and his friends wanted us to come to the st pats day parade in the city.
we went to school than ran across the street got picked up by taxi and went to meet her bf took the train into the city. no one w\knew where we were going and we ended up walking around the city trying to find the parade. than it started snowing. his friends were such d-bags i dont even know why i went (i guess i was being a good friend)
than later that week my mom busted me for going o the city-i have no idea how she ever found out.
i got so sick from being outside in the snow.

Smoked a fat one then ran into my folks at our parade. I was laughing hysterically and my mom who is clueless kept asking "what is so funny???"

Actually my husband and I first decided to take our friendship to the next level on St Paddy's Day. We met because we lived in the same two family house. My best friend and I downstairs and he and his friend upstairs. We became great friends. I had a FT job and also worked PT in a restaurant. He was finishing up college and needed a PT job so I got him one at the restaurant.

One St Paddy's Day we both had to work at 5PM so for some asisnine reason we decided to go to the Arizona Bar tent party and drink before. Well a few tequila shots and green beers later we end up at work-pretty tipsy and VERY into each other. PDA might not be a strong enough word to describe it Luckily there was a room off the main restaurant that was pretty private. Thats probably my best story about SPD. Today is actually our 10 year "dating anniversary." We will be maried 6 years in June
