Re: What is the recommended amount....

creeper is like a romper big onesie for bigger babies, I think they make them at 9 months and up but I could be wrong

I had 12 onesies, worked good for washes etc...
and you can never have enough bibs

4 blankets is plenty, I had more and never used some

side snap - had about six, didnt use them much though

Re: What is the recommended amount....

I agree with above.

Onsies - you want more than a weeks worth or you will always be doing laundry. 12 sounds like a good minimum number.

Bibs - I go thru them so fast - so I agree you never have enough.

Blankets - I don't use them that much. Maybe now that he is rolling on the floor I use them more. 4 is enough although I have like 14....so I just rotate them, keep one in each diaper bag, etc.

Side Snaps - I had a pack of 3 long sleeved and a pack of 3 short sleeves and I used them all only once or twice.

I'd say at least 12 onesies, and as for bibs...when you think you have plenty, BUY MORE!!!

I agree with the above posts, but I loved using the side snap t-shirts. I had about 12-15 of them as well. Since Claire was born in December, I liked that the t-shirts were long sleeve and could cover her hands to keep them warm and prevent scratching. I used only side snap t-shirts till about 5-6 weeks then switched to onesies.

I agree with the above posts I had plenty of blankets and believe it or not I used them all the time I would lay mariss a on the floor and I also used some of the recieving blankets as burping cloths cuz thats one thing I forgot about but also since I used them to wrap her up in she would spit up on them so I am glad I had more also make sure you ha ve plenty of bibs you go through those like crazy and onsies and t-shirts I had alot of those as well and it was good cuz she would go number 2 alot and the diapers were big on her and it would leak through sometimes so I was changing them alot.

Re: What is the recommended amount....

I think it depends on when the baby is due. Kiera was more of a winter baby and we barely used onesies for the first couple of months. Now with the warm weather she's in a onesie everyday so I would say you need about 10-12 of them.

Blankets-I'd say 2 receiving blankets and 3 other blankets. Once the baby is here you'll have a better idea of if you need more or less blankets and I think it also depends on when the baby is due.

Side snap shirts were a complete waste of money for us. I think I used them twice.

Re: What is the recommended amount....

you def. want to have some of the long sleeve shirts or long sleeve onsies with the mits built in...the were a lifesaver the first few weeks. (charles was born in Feb.)

be careful b/c different brands of onsies run differently.
I have found carters onesies to run the biggest and gerber onsies to run the smallest...the onsies from BRU seem narrow and thinner.

sidesnap shirts and handy in the beginning while you are waiting for the bellybutton to be ok...(one package is prob. fine)

I bought one package of 3 receiveing blankets (the thin kind) to use for swaddling, as well as 2 of the thermal blankets by koala at BRU...again, just the right size for swaddling...look at the sizes, you want them bigger so your job of wrapping is made easier...the rest of the blankets were given to us as gifts...we have 3 that are handmade.
