What is the best double stroller to take when you go on vacation (ie Disney)?
Looking for a stroller that will be easy to take on plane, easy to fold in and out of the car and not be too bulky.
What do other moms take when they take their kids on vacation?
We will be doing Disney and the Caribbean this year with an infant and toddler.

We have a Combi side-by-side that we have taken to DIsney and other vacations in general. It is lightweight, folds up compactly, has a carrying strap to put over your shoulder - PERFECT for disney.
It reclines all the way - which was good for when the kids fell asleep etc. Best of all it is well priced! All my other strollers are really expensive yet this is the one I like the most.

When we went to disney we rented a stroller... it was sooo nice not to lug one on an off the plane etc. They dropped it off at the hotel and picked it up the last day, they were great to work with. We used Magic Strollers
and got the citi mini single (at the time we didnt need the double but they do rent those as well.)

When we went to disney we rented a stroller... it was sooo nice not to lug one on an off the plane etc. They dropped it off at the hotel and picked it up the last day, they were great to work with. We used Magic Strollers
and got the citi mini single (at the time we didnt need the double but they do rent those as well.)
We did this as well got the double, very convienent

How old with the infant be? because some of hte lightweight double are for when they are stronger and can sit up (I think most say 6 months +)

I would like to go to disney in May, when the baby is 2 months old but we will have to see after the baby is born.
If we don't go in May, we will go in the fall or winter. Caribbean for sure in the winter, probably when the baby is 8-9 months old.

I would like to buy one since we will also be going on road trips.
Did you think the double city mini was good for the parks?
We use our single one now with DS. It's great for travel.

We have the combi twin sport doulbe side by side. We've been to Hershey, Dutch Wonderland, Sesame, and traveling with it and love it.
It is one of the lightest strollers for doubles and folds up pretty compactly, It had a shoulder carrying strap and its not too heavy where even i have carried it at some points.
Our first long trip with it our youngest DD was 5 weeks and we just recline her seat back and use the infant boot to cover the bottom. We did purchase the summer sunshade and put that on for extra sun protection when we were away on long trips.

my sister has the combi lightweight double stroller for her twins. she uses it as an everyday stroller-its very easy for her to fold and store it folds in half and is light

How does the combi twin compare to the double city mini?
I've heard many moms on LIF saying how light and easy it is to fold the combi twin in and out of the car.
The Manhattan stores have such a limited selection of double strollers. The only ones we can test are the phil and ted, city select and the double city mini.

We used the city mini double at disney last year - (almost 3 year old and DD#2 turned 1 on the trip). It was perfect for us. It had a great canopy which was good for the sun, full recline - and comfortable for DD#2 to nap in. Easy fold for the bus. A lot of storage for diapers, snacks etc.
