What is considered a fever for a 13 month old???
Ladies what is considered a fever for a 13 month old? I just took Athan's and it is 102.7 and he threw up again - he threw up again once at 2:00 am. What do I do? Beside Tylenol what can I do to help with the fever and throwing up? My mom had this a few days ago and she was watching him for one of those days so I have no doubt h has a stomach bug. Please help, it's our stomach bug. Thanks!!!

Lily is 22 months, and had a fever the last few days. I called the doctor and they told me 100.4 was considered a low grade fever. We gave her baby Motrin to bring it down and it worked really well. I'm not sure what else you can do because the fever was the only thing wrong....no throwing up.

Re: What is considered a fever for a 13 month old???
Agree that 100.4 is the beginning of a fever. Is he eating Ok? Wet diapers? Is he having a ton of dirty diapers? I thin the main concern with stomach bugs is dehydration-so its good to have pedialyte handy.
I really hope he feels better soon!!!

Re: What is considered a fever for a 13 month old???
Thanks ladies!!!!!! He is doing so much better than last night and early this morning. Gave him Tylenol, and the ped said to be giving him pedialyte by the teaspoon - 1 teaspoon to start with and then double every 15 minutes so that he doesn't drink too much. He is doing well with that, no more dry heaving and throwing up, and he even had a few goldfish crackers!!! He is playing with daddy now after a good 15 minute nap. THANK YOU FOR THE WELL WISHES!!!!!

How awful to see your baby dry heave and have nothing come up. At least it gave us time to rush him to the bathroom. So there he is dry heaving and playing with the toothpaste tube all at one. He wasn't phased at all
