What Dr. Brown's level nipple for rice thickened formula??

I know the Y level is for thickened formula but im scared it will come out too fast.

The ped. said to add an ounce of rice to every ounce. It gets pretty thick and I am having a rough time figuring this out. He spits up every bottle and sometimes a lot. It went all down my shirt before.

Has anyone had this problem. DS is only 3 1/2 weeks old.

I use a level 3 nipple, her stuff is very thick. I've used a level three from 9 weeks and continue to now that she is 20 weeks.

The Y for Eddie was too slow, but the #2 was too small for cereal and the #3 at the time was too fast. We ened up cutting the hole in the #2 to make it a little bigger and that worked.
