what are you packing in your kids lunchbox?

DD starts kindergarten tues, trying to get some ideas what to pack in her lunch box, she used to be extremely picky but shes much better however alot of the foods she likes are hot foods, so im trying to get ideas of what else i can give her on days she isnt going to buy lunch...

some ideas i have:

bagel
string cheese
cheese sandwich
cheese and crackers
hard boiled egg
yogurt

the school doesnt allow peanuts at all figures she likes pb sandwiches...so thats totally out, she isnt into any cold cuts also.

the snacks i plan to pack are def healthy she likes fruit and veggies, and i was also going to give her pretzels or a granola bar or something like that... so im ok in that department, just need more ideas for the main part of her lunch. Im sure someone out there is going to say something i am not thinking of!!! TIA!!!

We do cream cheese and jelly
cold cut sandwiches
salad w/grilled chk
soup in a thermos
chicken salad and crackers

My friend puts mac and cheese in a thermos and her DD says it stays warm till lunch....

I think I am going to let my DS buy lunch on days that its food i know he will eat....Otherwise I will probably send him in with;

jelly/cream cheese sandwich
Ham/cheese sandwich
Bagel

maybe nuggets if the thermos will keep them warm enough
