What are some ways to get free books for my kindle?
Someone told me in passing that they " never pay" for books for their kindle. I was gonna ask for details but it was sort of a random person and the conversion ended abruptly. Anyway, I have a library card- I know that's one way right? I hear about people lending each other books, but I didn't see anything about that on Amazon. I'm trying to cut back bills and I'm spending like $30 a month on my kindle.

use the app overdrive on your smart phone, It hooks into your library card

In each group on kindle store, there change out free books. For DD, i just DD free books and on occasions will buy books that relate to some free books in a collections.

Check with your library website. Mine has a digital library link that lets you borrow Kindle books, up to 5 at a time. Pretty good selection, although some of the more popular books have holds on them. But so convenient bc it can all be done from any computer and there are never any late fines.

What are some ways to get free books for my kindle?
There are sites that you can DL books for free... They are like the literary version of napster from back in the day.  It may not be the most legal of options but I know people who get books for free that way.
