What airlines do NOT charge to check in the 1st bag???
I was about to book our flights to florida last night and DH asked me about checking in bags. Last time we flew, they were charging for the 2nd bag, but now Delta charges $25 to check in the first bag; I didn't realize.
So that adds $50 to the price of our ticket (if we each check a bag).
I know I can check online with each individual airline, but does anyone know from experience or off the top of you head (or if there's a site that has compiled this type of info already for you) - which airlines let you check in 1 bag for free. I know Jetblue does, anyone else?

I'm pretty sure Southwest doesn't have bag fees.

Over the summer, we checked 2 bags each on Southwest for no charge.

JetBlue gives one free bag per person and Southwest gives two free bags per person.
All of the other airlines charge to my knowledge (well, I know USAir, Delta, Continental, American, United and Spirit do - anywhere between $23-$25 each way).

Ah ok, thanks everyone. You saved me a lot of time.
And on a side note, that SUCKS!!!! Ugh. At least now I know so we can compare prices correctly.
